Cunha Athletic Boosters (CAB) is a volunteer-based, registered 501c3 non-profit organization (Tax ID# 45-5161883) committed to raising funds to support a wide variety of competitive sports teams, allowing as many students as possible to participate. CAB encourages students to become academically successful student athletes, promoting school and community spirit.
Testimonials
For many Coastside kids Cunha Athletics is their first experience with organized sports. By being offered the chance to participate in sports like flag football, volleyball or cross country many students find a passion not available to them on the coast before their junior high years. Beyond the physical benefits sports provides students are able to learn important life lessons and widen their exposure to different peer groups and create friendships with kids they might never had the chance to connect with.
Giving Activity
Mission
CAB is a volunteer-based, non-profit corporation whose primary purpose is to give back to the BGCC Cunha Athletics program. All donations support student-athletes who are interested in participating in the numerous sports opportunities available to them. This includes funding equipment, uniforms, coaches attire, score keepers, a website for the online apparel shop, and funding to cover up-front costs for apparel and spirit-wear.
Needs
The Cunha Athletics Program is growing, and we’re always looking forward to hosting more student athletes. However, over time equipment gets lost, or used and we need to replace things like volleyballs, scoreboards, chair racks, basketballs, tennis balls, volleyball nets, track & field equipment etc. And of course we want to continue the tradition of outfitting our players with nice Cunha uniforms, and banners for Championship teams, but we also have to keep up with the growing number of players who need those uniforms. We are most excited about bringing HUDL to Cunha school, a platform where all games/matches in the Cunha Gym can be live streamed by our families. Any little bit helps support these needs! Thank you!
