For this year's Coastside Gives Day of Giving, Friends of the Half Moon Bay Library has set a goal of raising $10,000 to support the enhancement of the Children's Garden at the Half Moon Bay Library. This space has been beloved since the opening of the new library in 2018. Due to the pandemic, outdoor gathering spaces have seen increased demand. Funds raised through this campaign will be used to provide additional shading and furniture to ensure that this space continues to provide a safe, welcoming place to gather throughout the year.
Mission
For over 20 years, the Friends have supported our local library by enhancing programs for adults, teens and children of all ages and backgrounds in our community. We're proud to have initiated and driven the process that led to building a 21st century library to support our community into the future. With your help, Friends of the Library has been able to support our hard working library staff as they've identified changing Coastside needs during the pandemic.
