Friends of the Half Moon Bay Library

Kings Mountain Associated Parents
KINGS MOUNTAIN ASSOCIATED PARENTS (KMAP) is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization that coordinates the parent-led groups at Kings Mountain Elementary School (KMES) to maintain long-term success for this award-winning California Distinguished school. KMAP raises funds for programs, promotes the school, and advises the Kings Mountain Children's Center after-school program. It provides a means of communication and collaboration between school families, parents, school staff, the community, and the Cabrillo Unified School District (CUSD) administration. Funds secured by KMAP are distributed for the educational and enrichment needs of the students. Annually this group raises over $90k to help support enrichment programs on campus i.e. Music, Art, Interactive Science, Classroom Aides, Intervention Reading Support, After School Programming & more! La Honda Educational Foundation
The La Honda Educational Foundation (LHEF) was founded in 1991 by a group of parents who wanted to provide more services to La Honda Elementary School than state funding would allow. LHEF is a 501(c)3, all-volunteer organization so your donations and purchases are tax deductible. All the money we raise goes to fund enrichment & academic programs for La Honda Elementary students. As we all live under the same moon, we believe in standing for immigrant and human rights. Coastside Adult Day Health Center
"Aging in Place" Since its inception in 1982, the Coastside Adult Day Health Center's mission is to keep people as healthy, active, and independent as possible, when advancing age calls for more care and attention. The Center's goal is to help restore and maintain mental and physical health to enhance the quality of life for our participants and their caregivers so they can remain in their own homes, near family and friends; in the community they helped build.

Coastside Child Development Center
Coastside Child Development Center is a leading not‐for‐profit provider of child development and early intervention services for children from birth to age five. Since 1978, the Coastside Child Development Center has provided quality and compassionate care, early intervention, and education to children. Coastside Child Development Center's unique structure benefits all children in our inclusive learning environment which serves typically developing children as well as children who have delays in social/emotional development, children with behavioral health problems, children with special needs, and children who have been exposed to abuse and violence. Our mission is to promote healthy development in every child that we serve, and we believe that all children are entitled to an environment in which they can develop to their maximum potential and we are committed to giving all families access to our services regardless of background or income.
