El Granada Elementary PTO
Building rockets, making pasta, commanding robots, OH MY! It's a STEAM paradise at El Granada Elementary's Arts & Science Week. We spend a week in May getting immersed in art and science through live shows and hands on activities. The one day students of all ages will choose from 25 mini-courses that are sure to ignite their imagination. All taught by talented community volunteers, children can explore marine life, connect fiber optic cables, create magical masks, and design their own video games. Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics (STEAM) education improves critical thinking and problem-solving skills, involves students in the creative process, offers opportunities for meaningful collaboration, encourages exploration of the STEM fields, engenders a different way to value the arts, and gives all students hands-on learning experiences - components critical to future success. This year, donate the thrill of discovery; support EGE Arts & Science Week and Art Education.
