ALAS is dedicated to increasing health and wellness in Latino youth and families of Half Moon Bay through our cultural arts programs, mental health counseling services, educational support, community engagement and social justice advocacy. As we all live under the same moon, we believe in standing for immigrant and human rights. Our motto, tu lucha es mi lucha defines our belief that we are here to join together in supporting our community and unifying our cultural wealth to dream forward.
Spanish Immersion Parent Association
The Spanish Immersion Parent Association (SIPA) is a nonprofit parent-teacher organization created to enhance Cabrillo Unified School District's K-12 Two-Way Bilingual Immersion program. SIPA's mission is to serve as the primary support and advocacy group for the students, teachers, and families of this program and to inspire the continuation of bilingual education. SIPA provides materials and program needs in dual-language classrooms, and has funded programs such as the Amity Teaching interns, the annual Fiesta Carnival, and professional development in bilingual education for teachers.

Friends of Half Moon Bay Parks and Recreation was founded by a group of coastsiders dedicated to ensuring the coast has access to parks and recreational opportunities.
Coastal Repertory Theatre
Coastal Repertory Theatre is the longest-serving arts nonprofit on the Coast, providing live theatre experiences for our audiences and arts education for our students. We are committed to producing a broad range of memorable dramatic, musical, and comedic productions of the highest possible quality. We provide hands-on learning experiences in all aspects of theatre production and management and are dedicated to providing a program of educational experiences in all aspects of theatre for youth and adults. We celebrate the achievements of our volunteers and staff and are committed to providing value for our many supporters. Arts are a vital part of a community and we're proud of our 34 years in HMB!
Kings Mountain Associated Parents
KINGS MOUNTAIN ASSOCIATED PARENTS (KMAP) is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization that coordinates the parent-led groups at Kings Mountain Elementary School (KMES) to maintain long-term success for this CA distinguished school. KMAP raises funds for enrichment programs & promotes the alternative learning enviroment found at KMES. It provides a means of communication and collaboration between school families, parents, school staff, the community, and the Cabrillo Unified School District (CUSD) administration. Funds secured by KMAP are distributed for the educational and enrichment needs of the students. Annually this group raises approximately $80,000 to help support enrichment programs on campus i.e. Music, Art, Interactive Science, Culinary Arts, Field Trips, Project Based Learning & more! Cabrillo Education Foundation
We champion success for Coastside public school students. The Cabrillo Education Foundation (CEF) has been fundraising to help Coastside public school students for over 15 years. It was started by forward-thinking community leaders who built an endowment to provide sustainable financial support for the seven schools in the Cabrillo Unified School District (CUSD). Today, the CEF Endowment funds initiatives in Literacy, Next Generation Science, Computer Science, Innovation, and College and Career Readiness. Since 2012, CEF has allocated over $1,000,000 to enrich the K-12 experience of Coastside students. Elkus Ranch Environmental Education Center provides experiential learning opportunities for students of all ages and abilities on a 125 acre working farm in Half Moon Bay.
Coastside Hope's mission is to provide basic life necessities with dignity and hope to all mid-coast residents. Our guiding principle is "necessities for today, opportunities for tomorrow."
