We champion success for Coastside public school students. The Cabrillo Education Foundation (CEF) has been fundraising to help Coastside public school students for over 15 years. Today, the CEF Endowment funds initiatives in Literacy, Next Generation Science, Computer Science, Innovation, and College and Career Readiness. Since 2012, CEF has allocated over $1,000,000 to enrich the K-12 experience of Coastside students. We are proud to partner with CUSD toward a shared vision that all students have the opportunity to be inspired, prepared to complete post-secondary education, step into a career, and ultimately achieve their full potential all while enjoying a lifelong love of learning.

Main Street Scholars
Main Street Scholars: we build confidence in students. Our number one goal is to create an atmosphere that supports students until they can independently advocate for themselves. With expert teachers, coaches and a certified college counselor, the students we serve are given the opportunity to improve not only academic skills, but organizational skills and time management. We believe that students learn to connect with an adult who is a subject-matter expert, and through this 1:1 relationship a student is able to develop a mindset that allows him or her to become an independent learner, who eventually self-advocates. Students learn best when the support they receive support which meets them where they are. We meet students where they are and guide them to becoming thriving confident independent learners, who learn to manage their stress, time, and schedule. Stay on this side of the hill and get the support your kids truly deserve. MSS is conveniently located located in downtown HMB.
