For individuals experiencing homelessness, participating in Abundant Grace’s programs is a crucial step toward reintegration into the community. Through meaningful work, participants gain access to vital services, including housing support, employment opportunities, case management, healthcare resources, recovery programs, and family reunification. These opportunities empower individuals to rebuild their lives with dignity and purpose.
The farm apprenticeship graduation lunch. At Abundant Grace, we believe in the power of work to transform lives. Through our job-readiness programs, individuals experiencing homelessness grow and harvest over 15,000 pounds of organic produce annually for free distribution to families in need through our Full Circle Food Justice Program. Additionally, our Coastside Clean Team restores local beaches and trails, preserving the beauty of Half Moon Bay while providing employment opportunities.
Together, we are creating lasting change: strengthening individuals, restoring the environment, and building a healthier, more connected community.

Full Circle Food Justice
In partnership with Potrero Nuevo Farm, Abundant Grace employs individuals facing homelessness and extreme poverty to cultivate and harvest fresh, organic produce. Every year, we distribute over 15,000 pounds of organic food completely free of charge to vulnerable Coastside residents at several distribution sites.
Coastside Clean Team

Our Values & Philosophy
Meaningful Work
We believe that dignity, responsibility, and teamwork are essential steps toward self-sufficiency. Through meaningful employment, participants regain their sense of purpose, reconnect with their community, and build a foundation for a brighter future.
Accompaniment: Walking Together Toward Change
At Abundant Grace, we practice "accompaniment": walking alongside individuals as they navigate their unique paths toward stability. Rather than imposing a rigid plan, we support each person in making progress toward five key goals: housing, employment, health and wellness, food security, and sobriety. Our role is to listen, uplift, and empower, ensuring that every step forward is taken with dignity and support.

The mission of Abundant Grace Coastside Worker is to transform the lives of Coastsiders experiencing homelessness through meaningful employment, skill training, community building, food justice, and other supports.
Thanks to your generosity and growing community demand, Abundant Grace is expanding its programming. Your support will help enhance enrichment opportunities for participants and launch a new farm-based trainee program, allowing us to reach more individuals in need.
To support the growing unhoused community in Half Moon Bay, Abundant Grace is expanding the programming we offer our participants. Currently, we offer a variety of programs at Potrero Nuevo Farm, including the Full Circle Food Justice Program, where participants show up to work, are selected via lottery and plant, tend and harvest organic food that we bring back to give away to low income families in our community. We also offer an Apprenticeship Program at the farm where select participants work for 6 weeks to learn new skills and create products out of things we grow, and we run a Conservation Crew program, which is also a 6-week program
Our newest program offering at the farm is called a Farm Traineeship, where we are currently offering a few participants multi-week guaranteed work sessions, specializing in particular areas of farming like greenhouse management, ecological landscaping and machine maintenance. This program is available to participants who are working on their goals, reliably showing up to our work sessions, and are engaged with us actively.
In addition to expanding this work program, we are increasing the number of enrichment outings we offer to our participants, which allow us to go out into our community and neighboring communities around the bay, learn about the neighborhoods, take hikes, attend cultural events, and provide connective opportunities to learn and grow together.
Abundant Grace provides food for our participants through a program called Food from the Heart, where weekly meals are cooked and shared in our community patio, and monthly, we celebrate progress and accomplishments that participants are making around their goals.
Abundant Grace needs donations to support our work programming, participant stipends, basic supplies, and maintenance at our Workforce Development Center.
