CoastPride

CoastPride is a nonprofit dedicated to building a Coastside community that supports and celebrates people of all sexual orientations and gender identities. Our programs increase LGBTQ+ visibility, strengthen connections, and foster a sense of belonging for both the LGBTQ+ community and the Coastside as a whole.

Who We Serve

We serve the San Mateo County Coastside—from Pacifica to Pescadero—reaching more than 800 LGBTQ+ individuals and allies. Our programs support people of all ages, including youth, adults, seniors, and their families and caregivers.

What We Face

The Bay Area is often seen as a safe haven for LGBTQ+ people, but the reality on the Coastside can be very different. Many individuals still face discrimination, isolation, and—especially in today’s political climate—growing threats to safety and well-being.

What We Offer

CoastPride Center
A welcoming space where LGBTQ+ individuals and allies can gather, connect, and find support. The Center hosts support groups, social events, and community activities that reduce isolation and strengthen belonging.

Community Connection & Education
We create opportunities for connection through counseling, peer support groups, and social events, while also educating the broader community about LGBTQ+ issues and building bridges of understanding.

Social Justice Programs
In partnership with schools, faith communities, government agencies, and safety-net organizations, we work to advance equity and inclusion in public spaces, workplaces, schools, and congregations.

allcove Half Moon Bay
allcove is an integrated wellness center that provides free or low-cost mental health, medical, substance use, and peer support services for youth ages 12–25. A new location in Half Moon Bay will ensure that Coastside youth have a welcoming place to access care, build community, and receive support close to home. CoastPride will be the backbone agency for developing this community centered space
