Hoping to make this our best year EVER! Your donations will be doubled up

to $6,000 thanks to a matching grant!!!

Over the past 38 years, we have awarded scholarships to promising Half Moon Bay High School Seniors. Over the past ten years, we have awarded approximately $200,000 to 82 well-deserving graduates. More than half of these students were the first in their families to attend college. Scholastically, they were successful. Many served in leadership roles at the school and the community, and a significant number held part-time jobs to supplement the family income. Financial need is a critical consideration when we decide on our scholarship recipients.

EVERY $50 DONATION IS AUTOMATICALLY ENTERED INTO A DRAWING FOR ONE OF TWO BEAUTIFUL NECKLACES FROM GOLDWORKS!

Each necklace is a Goldworks original.

First Drawing: The silver crescent moon necklace, valued at $214.

Second Drawing: The sapphire necklace with a lovely crescent moon, valued at $136.

In 2024, we proudly expanded our scholarship program, increasing the number of students supported to 10 and raising the scholarship amount to $8,000 per recipient.

With your support, we can make an even greater impact by awarding more scholarships to deserving students. We believe that every senior, regardless of family income, deserves the opportunity to pursue higher education. This year, our goal is to provide ten scholarships to outstanding graduates planning to attend a two-year community college, a four-year university, or a vocational program.

Your contribution today will help us achieve this goal and shape the future—not just for these individuals, but for our entire community. Please donate generously and join us in making a lasting difference!

Giving Activity

Mission

Coastside Women's Club is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is to provide charitable, social, and educational activities for the women of the San Mateo County Coastal communities. Our sole charitable mission is to raise funds for HMB High School scholarships for seniors going to community college, university, or post-secondary vocational programs. We are all volunteers who believe that supporting education is an investment in a brighter future. 100% of every dollar donated goes to our Scholarship Fund.

Needs

The Coastside Women's Club Scholarship Fund needs monetary donations to support our fundraising goals.

All monetary donations support our scholarship fund. Each Spring, the fund finances our scholarship awards to deserving Half Moon Bay High School seniors.

Donated items are used for fundraising events, like silent auction items and items for drawings.
