It’s heartbreaking: Patients are showing up to Sonrisas’ clinics with letters received notifying them that their dental benefits are being cut off, a direct result of federal Medicaid cuts. 

They are scared, and they don’t know what to do.

For our patients, dental care is not a luxury; it is pain relief, the ability to eat and speak comfortably, and the dignity of a healthy smile. Without timely support, routine care will be delayed, infections will worsen, and preventable emergencies will rise.

A proud participant of Coastside Gives for the past 7-years, Sonrisas Dental Health is raising $50,000 to provide 300 clinic visits for 100 neighbors on the Coastside with a focus on recent-migrants, high-needs children, those losing their Medi-Cal benefits, and the elderly.
