Matching Grant for up to $5,000 in donations!

This year’s contributions to the Rotary Club of Half Moon Bay Foundation through Coastside Gives will help support the RotaCare Free Medical Clinic at Shoreline Station, providing essential, no-cost health care to the uninsured and underserved in our community. With your support, the RotaCare Clinic can expand diabetes care - offering not just treatment, but hope, dignity, and a healthier future.

 Since 1971, the Rotary Club of Half Moon Bay has been dedicated to serving our community with the motto of "Service Above Self." We are people of action who are committed to providing support and care to our coastal community. Rotarians believe that good deeds, no matter how small, make a significant impact on the community. Our local Rotary Club’s work spans supporting our youth, education, the underserved, healthcare, disaster relief and the environment.

Our ongoing projects include:

•  Conduct Life Skills Program for high school seniors (including financial skills, resume writing, social media etiquette and more.)
• Provide scholarships to high school students for vocational programs and community college.
• Organize Rotary Youth Exchange for high school students on the coast, hosting International students locally and sending local students to foreign destinations.
• Annually, provide dictionaries to all 3rd graders on the Coast.
• Funded the Boys and Girls Club school break camp program for low-income families and youth mental health programs (via a youth mental health app produced by Maiden Productions.)
• Provided funding support to Big Wave Project in their efforts to build a safe and vibrant community for adults with special needs.
• Funded Alzheimer’s and Dementia program at Coastside Adult Day Health Center. 
• Monthly, provide 8 families with household and personal necessities in conjunction with Coastside Hope’s 2nd Harvest distributions.
• Serve breakfast to the needy at the Lutheran Church in conjunction with Abundant Grace.
• Support Sea Huggers in plastic cleanup on local beaches.
• Install and maintain “Little Libraries” in local neighborhoods. 
• Fundraise for local emergencies including providing support for flood victims and victims of the 2023 shootings.
