No one should age alone

VOTC tackles the challenges of loneliness and social isolation for seniors who are aging at home. We are a community of care and connection through social interaction and a focus on interests and activities that keep mind, body, and spirit healthy. VOTC is meeting the needs of "solo agers" and all seniors by forming a web of support in our local community. Occasionally, we all "need a little help from our friends!"     

VOTC helps dispel loneliness and isolation by providing social connection - a friendly visit, a telephone call, a walk in the park, lunch out, or a meeting with peers in shared interest groups.  

And thanks to our dedicated volunteers and your generosity, we offer practical help when needed.

Your Gift Changes Lives

With your support during Coastside Gives, we can:

• Provide transportation to essential medical appointments over the hill, local appointments, and grocery shopping
• Host informational events with guest speakers
• Provide home safety evaluations and critical remedies
• Recruit, train, and vet new volunteers (especially volunteer drivers)
• Provide transportation to special events and social outings
• Increase our outreach to isolated seniors, expanding our membership

We don't just provide services; we create a community where everyone matters.
