RotaCare Bay Area: Coastside Clinic

The RotaCare Coastside-Half Moon Bay clinic operates through RBA's clinic network to provide the community with: quality free primary and urgent care to an average of 364 patients per year, and primary care services for the prevention and management of diabetes, hypertension, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (CPOD) and women's health. The clinic also provides diagnostics and referrals to specialty and surgical care providers, and to subsidized health care coverage for qualifying patients. We also provide Physical Therapy, Health Information, and Dietitian services.

Testimonials

Our clinic reports diversity of age, race, gender, and employment status, though economic hardship remains the common variable in patient populations. One story about a family remains a reminder of how common these hardships are. They lost a child who suffered from uncontrolled schizophrenia. As a result, both parents were diagnosed with hypertension and major depression. Despite their health issues, they are unable to obtain health insurance. We are their only means of help and have considered us part of their family. We hope to continue to be a means of help to all off our patients.
