Madi asks for your help to finish Big Wave

As you might know, this past year we joined the Big Wave Co-op – a group of families in the Bay Area that have adult children with special needs.  We anticipate that this will be a place where Madi can live independently in her own apartment, but be within a supported and protected community.

We feel very blessed that we have the means to participate in this endeavor.  The families in the Co-op have devoted significant funds as well as time and energy to get the project approved and moving forward.  There is a huge need for places such as this in California and beyond.

Our family is participating in Coastside Gives this year, a fundraising effort for nonprofits that will benefit Big Wave.  We are inviting you to participate by donating to this important cause.  Your donation will help with the general operations of the project, construction costs, and support for our Farm, as well as help build four needs-based units for families not as fortunate as ours.  Big Wave is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that aims to provide lifelong housing, access to opportunities, and a sense of community for Bay Area adults with special needs.  Thank you for considering this important cause!
