The Power of BGCC's 3Cs

Connection: Every kid deserves someone who believes in them.

We help kids build lasting friendships, connect with caring adult mentors, and find a safe space where they are known, supported, and encouraged. Through after-school programs, tutoring, camps, and sports, we create daily opportunities for youth to feel seen and valued.

Community: Leading youth development organization on the Coastside.

Through strong partnerships with schools, families, other organizations, and the City of Half Moon Bay, we support academic success, skill-building, wellness, and BGCC~Cunha Athletics. Our programs serve 1000+ kids a year, regardless of their ability to pay.

Confidence: When we build confidence, everything changes.

Through academic support, robotics and STEM, workforce readiness programs, scholarships, mental health resources, and an onsite full-time youth wellness counselor, we help youth develop resilience, leadership skills, and belief in their future. We celebrate milestones, from improved grades to diplomas, awards, and first-time outdoor experiences. When kids believe in themselves, they step into their full potential.

Kids are our community’s most valuable resource, and it is our collective responsibility to ensure they have everything they need to thrive. BGCC is focused on three powerful outcomes for over 1,000 Coastside youth.

How Your Gift Helps

Your support serves over 1000 Coastside kids by funding after-school sports, robotics, camps, job-readiness activities, as well as increasing opportunities for elementary school children. Donations fund scholarships and staffing so every child can participate.  

Here are some of our special programs below:

• STEM, robotics, tutoring, and mentoring to inspire future leaders.

• Camps to promote friendships and wellness.

• Cuhna athletics programs for 550 youth in 8 sports - everyone plays! 

• Scholarships to ensure every child has access to any program.

• Caring staff and coaches who know every kid by name.

• Safe transportation to outdoor adventures, expanding access to nature, learning, and exploration.

• Onsite full-time youth wellness counselor.

• Nutritious and delicious snacks at no cost.
  
  

Power Hour

BGCC Power Hour is 3:00–3:50 PM on Thursday, May 7!

All donations made during Power Hour will be matched thanks to our generous Board of Directors, doubling your impact for Coastside kids.

Your gift also helps us compete for a $1,000 prize for the most unique donors

Each donation tied to a different email address counts!
