For 50 years, Coastside Hope has been a beacon on the Coast, standing with neighbors in moments of need and helping families find stability, dignity, and opportunity. Today, the aim is to strengthen that beacon so it can shine even brighter for the next fifty years.
Two years ago, Coastside Hope relocated to a larger, centrally located building on Main Street in the heart of Half Moon Bay. This move was driven by a clear vision: to create a trusted community hub where neighbors can access critical services in one welcoming place—turning Necessities for Today into Opportunities for Tomorrow.
That vision is becoming a reality. From this location, Coastside Hope now collaborates with more than two dozen partner service providers, several of whom are able to serve our community only because this hub exists. These partnerships are expanding access to services and strengthening coalitions to ensure that help is available when and where it’s needed most.
To make this vision possible, Coastside Hope purchased the building, securing a permanent home for its mission and took on a loan to do so. Thanks to proceeds from the sale of the El Granada location and generous, targeted gifts from foundations and individual donors, the loan is already more than half way paid down. Importantly, no program or general operating funds have been used.
Now, Coastside Hope is asking for your help to finish the job.
