Please join us in addressing critical social, justice, and mental health needs. For more than five years, thanks to your generosity, volunteerism, and unwavering belief in this work, CoastPride has expanded LGBTQ+ visibility and resources with community spaces in Pescadero, Half Moon Bay, and Pacifica; support groups for all ages; and vibrant Pride celebrations that affirm and uplift our coastside community.

This year marks a major milestone. We are launching allcove—a welcoming community mental health space where any young person, ages 12–25, can drop in, find connection, and access holistic services including mental and physical health, substance use prevention and treatment, education and employment, peer and family supports, and more. It’s a place built on belonging, dignity, and early intervention.

Our work and your support are more vital than ever.

• Anxiety and depression among young people are at historic highs. We believe mental health deserves the same urgency as any other health or safety issue. That’s why we are launching allcove and expanding access to affirming care.

• Last year, the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) tracked more than 600 anti-LGBTQ+ bills across the United States. Even when these bills do not become law, they create fear, stigma, and real harm for LGBTQ+ people and their families.

Every day, we hear from youth, parents, and trusted medical providers about how essential safe spaces and affirming healthcare are—and about the devastating consequences when belonging and care are denied.

The stakes are high, but together we can rise to meet them.

In the coming year, we will double our staff to fully support the allcove center and expand our LGBTQ+ programs across the coastside. This growth will allow us to serve more young people and families, deepen our impact, and respond with strength and compassion to the challenges facing our community.

We are doubling down on community care for ALL coastside youth and their families through allcove and ALL coastsiders through CoastPride LGBTQ+ programs, finding creative and courageous ways to address stigma, discrimination, marginalization, gender-based violence, and victimization. Together, we can ensure that our coastside and our county are safer, healthier, and more inclusive for everyone.
